To live means to learn

2026, April, downward facing dog

It’s April and it’s getting warmer. This facilitates the yoga practice.

I went through my priorities and my yoga practice is on top of everything. It comes bevor reading or walking or meeting friends or whatever.

Yesterday long-term reader of my blog contacted me. This is a huge compliment. It motivates me to keep blogging.

During the last years I withdraw from life, that is we all had to withdraw. Yet I came to the conclusion that this is not a good solution forever. Every voice counts. And so, here I am again. I’ll write again.

Perhaps it’s also interesting to document my path from being still injured to getting out of it and to explore what is possible. Giving up is not a solution. As long as we live we have to move.

Today I practiced primary. It’s better to say or what’s left from this practice.

To bow forward is always important. We have to pick up things from the floor. We have to put on our shoes. Forward bending exercises help to stay flexible. I want to stay independent as long as possible. So to start with forward bending asanas as a focus seems reasonable for me.

Keep practicing with me. I’ll show what is possible with my injury on the left groin. I’m still optimistic that I can get back to my former flexibility, but it will take time.
So today was a good start.

The next week I’ll focus on forward bending asanas and a soft counter pose.
